01 / Context

Arigeli's preparation for La Velada V, the event with the largest audience in streaming history.

The project stemmed from the need to cover the ten days leading up to the fight in a daily series and final documentary format. In a highly competitive ecosystem for attention, the challenge was to build a new aesthetic for Arigeli's videos, one aligned with the scale of Ibai Llanos' event and the world of boxing, while managing the presence of the most relevant figures in Spanish-language content creation.

02 / Concept

Building a rivalry narrative through thumbnails.

The conceptual approach centered on the epic of preparation. Each piece had to function as an independent narrative unit communicating tension, progress, and the significance of interactions with key figures in digital entertainment. A visual language was chosen that prioritizes staged confrontation, elevating the daily format toward a cinematic aesthetic rooted in high-competition sports.

03 / Direction

Hyper-realistic photomontages and digital composition oriented toward the narrative of conflict and self-improvement.

The direction relied on technical photomontage and advanced digital manipulation. Working from video captures or on-set sessions, efforts focused on reconstructing backgrounds, re-lighting subjects, and color grading to achieve a cohesive and striking aesthetic. The visual language uses intentional color saturation and deep contrasts to foreground Arigeli's presence, with a compositional hierarchy where gesture and staging, often choreographed for camera, dictated each frame. The result is a visual identity built for speed and the consumption logic of new generations.

04 / Process

Real-time workflow: from raw capture to final piece in 24-hour cycles.

The process unfolded organically within the production chain, in close coordination with the filmmaking and editing team. The methodology began with selecting key frames and directing specific poses during shoots. Once the base material was in place, an intensive post-production phase followed: subject isolation, shot cleanup, integration of narrative elements, and typography and graphics design. This daily iteration demanded immediate aesthetic decisions while maintaining the visual coherence of the entire series under constant time pressure.

05 / Impact

A visual strategy that accumulated over five million views and established the series as a benchmark of the event.

The series accumulated over 5,000,000 views on YouTube, with individual episodes surpassing one and a half million. Figures such as Westcol, Ibai Llanos, IlloJuan, ByViruzz, Roro, Alana, and Maravilla Martínez participated throughout the project, giving it considerable weight within the Spanish-language content ecosystem. Beyond the metrics, the work established a consistent and professional visual identity across the entire event, demonstrating that thumbnail design can operate as a first-rate narrative tool.
