Live Session
Filmmaking session for Antoñito Molina & TEETE
A spontaneous live recording in Rota as part of the launch campaign for Antoñito Molina's new single.
01 / Context
Filmmaking session for the launch campaign of Antoñito Molina's new single.
Antoñito Molina, a singer-songwriter from Cádiz with over one million monthly listeners on Spotify, included a series of collaborations with emerging artists as part of his new single's campaign. TEETE was one of those chosen. The session took place in Rota, the artist's hometown, and my role was that of filmmaker, covering the recording of reels, the photo session, and the live moment in which both artists performed the song together.
02 / Concept
Two artists at different points in their careers.
The project did not emerge from exhaustive planning but from the spontaneity of an encounter between two artists with shared roots. Recording with artists who had not yet broken through was central to Antoñito's bet, and that gave the encounter a real energy that cannot be manufactured in a studio.
03 / Direction
A shoot where spontaneity was the plan.
The direction came down to reading the space and knowing when to turn the camera on, because without a closed script the moment is everything. That was precisely Antoñito's intention with this campaign: to step away from large production companies and the overly controlled, and let the encounter with emerging artists happen for real.
04 / Process
No structure, no production company, the artists set the pace.
The session was concentrated into a single day in Rota, combining reels, photo work, and the live performance. Everything moved according to the artists' rhythm, with no fixed structure or production hierarchy.
05 / Impact
Working alongside one of the most listened-to artists in Spanish pop today.
Being part of the launch campaign for Antoñito Molina, with over 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, shooting in his own hometown and with TEETE as one of the chosen artists, is not a context that comes around often. The content was released as part of the single's launch and reached a well-established audience within Spanish pop.
